I’m really happy to finally share Slow It Down with you.
This song came from a place of wanting to pause — to step out of the constant motion of things and settle into something quieter and more present. It’s been living with me for a while, and it felt right to release it in two different forms.
There’s a shorter version of the song, simple and close, for everyday listening. And then there’s a longer, 20-minute extended version, created as an Atmos-enabled piece that opens up into a more spacious, immersive experience – something you can sit with, breathe into, or let play while the world slows down a little.
I was deeply grateful to collaborate on the extended version with Paul Avgerinos, whose sensitivity and feel for sound helped shape this version into something expansive and meditative. Working together allowed the music to unfold in a way that felt very natural and unhurried.
Slow It Down is an invitation. There’s no rush with it. Whether you spend a few minutes listening or stay with it longer, I hope it offers a small pocket of calm, right when you need it.
Thank you for being here and for listening.
